Leah Sylver is a Licensed Professional Counselor who’s passionate about working with young adults, adults, and couples to help them navigate through life challenges. She has experience in helping individuals with stress, low self-esteem, depression, anxiety, abuse, trauma, suicidal and homicidal thoughts, self-harm, psychosis, relational conflicts, and adjustment difficulties across various transitions in life.

Leah utilizes a collaborative, non-judgmental, and supportive approach to create a healthy space where an individual, couple, or family can freely be themselves. Using a person-centered model that is unique to the individual’s needs, Leah uses techniques from Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Cognitive- Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Psychoeducation to help her client search their goals.

Leah received her Master’s in Counseling Education with a concentration in Marriage, Family and Couple Counseling from Western Michigan University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Bowling Green State University.
