Leah Sylver is a Licensed Professional Counselor who’s passionate about working with adolescents,young adult, adults, couples, and families to help them navigate through life challenges. She has experience in helping individuals with stress, low self-esteem, depression, anxiety, abuse, trauma, suicidal and homicidal thoughts, self-harm, psychosis, relational conflicts, and adjustment difficulties across various transitions in life.

Leah utilizes a collaborative, non-judgmental, and supportive approach to create a healthy space where an individual, couple, or family can freely be themselves. Using a person-centered model that is unique to the individual’s needs, Leah uses techniques from Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Cognitive- Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Psychoeducation to help her client search their goals.

Leah received her Master’s in Counseling Education with a concentration in Marriage, Family and Couple Counseling from Western Michigan University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Bowling Green State University.
