Kat Munoz (she/her) is a Limited Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who strives to be an accepting, loyal, and honest individual who can be an impartial ally and source of compassionate support. Kat knows first hand the internal questioning and relational distress that can propel us to engage courageous journeys. Her passion is helping people love and feel loved, whether that be in their marriages and partnerships, with their families, or how they feel about themselves and their lives. During her clinical internship, Kat worked with a wide range of clientele and gained exposure to crisis intervention, trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder, family conflicts, and mood disorders.

Balancing compassionate support with direct intervention, Kat actively tailors treatment to meet individual and family needs. She is currently completing post-graduate training and certification in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). Kat cultivates a safe therapeutic space with her clients in order that they can find their capacity to translate emotions into helpful information as a way of limiting negative outcomes.

Kat received her Masters of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy, Military Family Track, from National University in Savannah, GA. Prior to her clinical training, Kat served as a Medical Service Corp Officer in the United States Air Force.
