Master’s Level Psychologist

Brittany Burns is a licensed Master’s Level Psychologist (LLP) who is passionate about working with adults in all stages of life with varying presenting concerns. In the therapy setting, she works to be authentic, genuine and non-judgemental with every person who walks through the door. She excels at providing a safe and welcoming environment for her clients to develop the insight and confidence necessary to grow and change, as well as to cope with everyday life stressors and develop healthy self-care techniques.

Brittany’s therapy approach is integrative, using evidence-based therapy techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), among other treatment modalities catered to the individual’s needs. She has clinical experience working in a medical residency center, crisis rehabilitation unit, and outpatient therapy office doing individual/group therapy and brief clinical health interventions (i.e. sleep hygiene, smoking cessation). Brittany has experience working with adults who suffer from depression, anxiety, medical conditions, trauma, grief/loss, among other psychological disorders.

Brittany received her Masters of Science in Clinical Psychology from Eastern Michigan University. She has a Bachelors of Science in Psychology with a minor in Communications from Saginaw Valley State University.
