Anna MacMillan is a Licensed Master’s Social Worker (LMSW) who builds on her client’s strengths and supports them in a caring and collaborative environment. Using a holistic and person-centered approach, she works with her clients to help them achieve a higher level of overall well-being. Anna has experience working with individuals of all ages and she takes a special interest in working with anxiety, panic disorders, depression, low self-esteem, and difficulties with life transitions.
Anna takes an integrative therapeutic approach depending on the client’s needs. She utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, acceptance and commitment therapy, and psychodynamic therapy. Passionate about the cultivation of the mind-body-spirit connection, Anna works with clients to help them achieve balance, harmony, and fulfillment in their lives.
Anna received her Masters of Social Work (MSW) from Wayne State University with a concentration in interpersonal practice. Prior to completing her graduate work, she received her undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of Michigan.
