Dr. Daniel Bingham is a Licensed Psychologist in the state of Michigan and founder and director of Cypress Counseling Center, P.C. He is a member of the American Psychological Association and the Michigan Psychological Association. Daniel received his Doctorate and Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology at Wheaton College in Wheaton, IL. He received a Bachelor of Science in Natural Sciences at Xavier University in Cincinnati, OH.
Daniel’s training has included the provision of individual, couples, family and group therapy, and psychological assessment. His areas of special interest include working with long-standing depression, anxiety, trauma, identity confusion and personality issues that undermine relationship satisfaction. In addition, he received advanced training in the integration of spirituality and psychotherapy at the Danielsen Institute at Boston University.
Daniel has taught courses in Counseling & Psychotherapy and Spiritual Discernment & Differential Diagnosis and has provided counseling and assessment supervision for doctoral students. Daniel enjoys consulting with and providing workshops for schools, professional groups and religious communities regarding mental health and relationship issues.
